On the 23rd April over 200 pupils and staff from Perth High School will be walking and running 5k at Perth park-run in memory of former pupil Gavin Russell, and to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. The pupils will be wearing different colours of t-shirt (red, yellow, green, blue or orange) according to what house they belong to.
The money for the t-shirts has been provided by support from the following organisations: KM Dental, Tayside Christian Fellowship, Perth Ultimate Frisbee, PHS PTA, GS Brown, LW Haddow, The Bathroom Company and Struans Motor Group.
This is the 3rd year of the fundraising event. In 2018 just over 100 pupils took part and this year looks set to double that figure
The last 2 events raised ¿18,841.50 and organisers are hoping to raise another ¿5,000 this year for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
