Alan Seabridge a resident of Westbury Park in Clayton looks at the open drain behind his property in Hopedale Close in Clayton.
The drain just has a road traffic cone covering the opening which measures 20x16 inches and residents are concerned that children or pets could fall down or injure themselves.
Staffordshir County council have said it's a non urgent priority
