Scone and St Martins Fellowship Lunch Club meet on the 1st Thursday of the month. The latest had a Queen? Platinum Jubilee theme. Nearly 50 locals enjoyed soup and sandwiches with 1950? fillings such as Coronation chicken, corned beef and tinned salmon. Sheila Simpson who has volunteered with the club since it? inception, nearly 30 years ago, retired and was invited to cut a Jubilee themed cake, created by Helen Moir

Pizza Hut have been hit by a rent increase of ?10,000 by NLC and are unlikely to reopen (currently closed for maintenance) with the threat of the loss of 14 jobs.


Operations Manager Frank Hill will be at the shop for a raging face picture, grab a happy face one too please in case the council back track on this, and we get a follow-up.
