Newmains soldier remembered
Newmains War Memorial, on the roundabout at junction of Main Street and A71.

Cousins of Private William Johnstone Milne VC, sisters Nancy Watford and Mary Armes, are travelling from the United States and will be laying a wreath in his memory. They will be joined by members of the British Legion Scotland and others. Afterwards they will be stopping at Newmains Primary, the soldier's former school.

This is as part of the Perthshire Mela which kicks off at noon with a parade down Tay Street towards the North Inch performance areas.
