The story is local residents on Meikle Earnock Road are complaining of very bad flooding issues caused by a drainage problem, possibly linked to some new build houses nearby.
It's since cause road safety concerns as the road is often flooded with water, more traffic has built up through the new homes being there with no measurements in place to control this.
The drainage has also caused an issue of dirty water in homes.
The roads have became congested and one resident in particular is experiencing the worst of it as his house is a farm building where lots of the excess drainage is ending up.
They are all calling for action from South Lanarkshire Council so whatever we can get to best show what the problems are would be ideal.
Pics wise if we can have all local residents on the day attending standing at some of the worst parts along Meikle Earnock Road and they'll be able to point out the drainage and flooding problems, alongside any road concerns they have.
Meeting point will be at the farm house (Gilbert's house) where the three residents are happy to meet.
