Real ice rink takes centre stage for Christmas in Stafford Park
Theaward-winning Victoria Park in Stafford will be transformed into a winterwonderland with a real ice rink and Bavarian style market just some of the attractionson offer.
The team behind the Great British Drive in at Sandon, who run Alberts Caf? in the popularpark, will be rolling out festive cheer, alongside Stafford Borough Council, tomake it a Christmas to remember.
And thefestive extravaganza is due to open on Saturday 27 November.
Situated inthe heart of Stafford the inaugural Christmas in the Park will feature:
? Ice Rink - get your skates on andhead to the Ice Rink, that? right, real ice in the park to skate on and undercover too, with themed event nights and private booking available.
? The Polar Bar - providing a range offestive cocktails, mulled wine, steins of beer and deliciously, indulgent hotchocolate.
? Digbeth Dining Club - will beproviding the finest street food around.
? Santa? Grotto - offers everyone achance to meet with Father Christmas. Bring your Christmas wish-list and helpto spread Christmas cheer.
? Staffordshire? very ownBavarian-style market - exhibiting and celebrating local produce includingChocolatiers, Christmas decorations and other festive favourites.
? You can finish up your action-packedday by making a homemade decoration or sitting down for a wreath makingmasterclass
? Listen to live music on thebandstand, from brass bands to choirs

It will open itsgates on Saturday 27 November, with pre-sale tickets for the ice rink availablefrom the website now.
The event is apartnership between the borough counciland The Great British Experience Company, the team behind Alberts and The GreatBritish Drive In, with the full support of the National Heritage Lottery Fund.

I am sure residents and visitors to thetown will be thrilled to hear we will have a real ice rink ?and planned themedevent nights - alongside a Bavarian style market and festive bar with all thewinter favourites ?and of course a traditional Santa? grotto.
