I'm writing to you to let you know about an upcoming event we have taking place at Northwood Broom Academy.
We are holding a sponsored penalty shoot-out for all children on Friday 21st May 2021.
After many discussions, as part of our School Council meetings (representatives of peers), we agreed that we would like to raise money to transform our school playground. We thought a whole school penalty shoot-out would not only allow all children within the school to take part in and remain active, would be a really fun way to raise funds towards our aspirations as school Council representatives. This is not all... We will also be gifting 50% of all sponsorship money to cash for kids appeal, who support the local community.
We are thrilled to announce that Antony Griffith, a Northwood parent and Port Vale coach, will be supporting us on the day for the event. We are really thankful of his time and all the support Port Vale football club have provided to local families over the last year.
If you would like any further information or would be interested in covering the event, please dont hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards
Nicola Wright

?s we continue to raise money to develop our school playground, we have been fortunate enough to receive support from Port Vale Football Club who have kindly donated their time to join us in a football penalty shoot-out. Each pupil of Northwood Broom Academy is taking part and has been encouraged to gain sponsorship. We have taken this opportunity of also raising money towards the Cash for Kids Signal One Radio fundraiser to improve the lives of local disadvantaged children and young people. The children and staff have had a great, fun filled day whilst raising lots of money too.?
