Paul Forrester-O'Neill has just written an award-winning book that's also his first commercially published novel.

It is called Mission and is about a son who takes revenge on two conmen who cheated his father out of money.

Sixty-two-year-old Paul, who lives in Newcastle, has been writing novels for the last 40 years. To help fund his writing, he has done all sorts of jobs, including being a bingo caller, meals on wheels driver, care worker with the homeless and a quiz setter. He now works as a skills tutor and fits his writing round his day job

Newhill Primary School Helping Our School Thrive, (the Parent Council, known as HOST) wanted to show the children of the school how amazing and resilient they have all been during the pandemic. One of the main focuses for the school during the pandemic and now is the health and wellbeing of the children and their families and, based on this, the idea of a wellbeing bear for each child arose. Castle Water was approached and has donated a bear for every child within the school.
