Residents on Bright Street in Meir have spent time refurbishing the alleyway behind the houses. They've put down bark and astroturf and are hoping to use it as a community space.

Perth High School Youth Philanthropy Initiative, winners who chose The Lighthouse For Perth to receive the prize money.The Lighthouse for Perth are a city-centre safe space and crisis for anyone aged 12+, and at risk of self-harm or suicide.YPI is an inclusive, multi-award-winning approach to grant-making that grows compassionate communities by connecting high school students to social issues, local charities, and philanthropy at a pivotal stage in their adolescence.
