In pic- Fire crews raced to a "well-developed" blaze at a Hamilton home on Saturday night after being contacted about a shed fire.
The alarm was raised after "several calls" from members of the public shortly before 6pm earlier tonight, July 3.
One fire engine raced to the scene on Wellcroft Terrace amid reports of a fire in a shed, but when they arrived, crews discovered a "well-developed" inferno at a house on the street.

Cheddleton Community Hall, Hollow Lane, Cheddleton, is the venue that artists David Hunt, Jonathan Walker, John Broadhurst, Anita Hill and photographer Chris Hunt will be showing their works
The exhibition opens on Friday 9th July 7pm until 9pm and continues on Saturday and Sunday 10th and 11th July 10am until 4pm .
The group is a number of artists that have shown together over a number of years, ( at least 10 ), work of a complimentary nature mainly to do with the landscape of North Staffordshire.
David Hunt works in oil and mixed media (pastel,acrylic and powder paint ) ,mainly local landscapes of the wonderful countryside around his home town of Leek. Jonathan Walker has an national reputation for his wonderful water colours paintings of mainly anthropomorphic animals and shows in many galleries all over England . John Broadhurst? paintings are based ,in the main, on his garden and the wildlife and insects in there ,he works in water-colour ,his larger paintings are done in acrylics. Anita Hills work is well known in Staffordshire her work is mainly in water-colour featuring a variety of subjects ranging from vases of flowers to the beauty of Anglesey in North Wales . Photographer Chris Hunt is the ?ew boy?of the group ,having recently retired he now has more time to follow his love of North Staffordshire landscape and it? wildlife through his photographs .
All the items on show are for sale ,and Government COVID-19 regulations are to be in operation throughout the exhibition .
Another artist who is exhibiting is Melvin Fowell who specializes in Raku fired pottery

The Spaghetti Tree restaurant, Warlingham - owner Loredana Romano-White who is very much alive and well, after a fight kicked off at the restaurant on Saturday night, some people were arrested, but social media went wild with spurious reports about what happened, including stabbings, and that she herself was badly injured and the venue smashed up.
