Art students from Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College are designing and making their own modern version of Josiah Wedgwood's famous anti-slavery medallion.

They are working with the World of Wedgwood and the V & A Museum on the projectThe final medallion will then go on display at the World of Wedgwood.

It is part of a wider project, looking at colonialism and the history of race.

The Titus: T.rex is King exhibition at Wollaton Hall in Wollaton, Nottingham.
The Titus: T.rex is King exhibition has been specially planned and designed around the truly amazing skeleton of the first real T. rex to be displayed in England for over 100 years.
Visitors will be able to discover the astonishing world of Titus 66 million years ago and then follow his extraordinary journey from discovery in the Montana Badlands in the USA to his spectacular world exclusive debut. The 4,000 square foot exhibition will explore the legend of the king of the dinosaurs, brought to life with digital interactive and immersive experiences that takes a closer look at Titus?environment, physical make up, excavation, curation, examination, rebuild and final display at Wollaton Hall

Michael and Annette Hope, Fraser Terrace Perth, celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary on July 1. The couple were presented with flowers by Councillor Willie Wilson and a telegram from Her Majesty the Queen by Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross Alex Cairncross.
