Lights, camera, station: Spotlights being installed on top of the multi-storey car park above the Grand Central atrium / New Street Station. The car park was closed until spring from July 1 pending improvements'. Tom Cruise is said to be shooting Mission: Impossible 7 in the city and it's believed the rooftop site will be used for filming in the run up to the August Bank Holiday when the city centre is quieter - possibly from August 24-26.
